At big consumer electronic shows, attendees can often spend more time on average waiting in line for demos than they actually spend playing the games. Bandai Namco knew this from experience, and they wanted a solution to help consumers have the best experience possible at their booth. We knew we couldn’t avoid gamers having to wait in line, but we knew we could make their time spent waiting more fun. Taking a page out of Disneyland’s playbook, we designed and executed on line queues that were brimming with surprises and activities that kept attendees laughing and excited as they waited to play the highly anticipated demos inside the booth.
