From Downtown to St. Johns to Slabtown, five book nooks popped up overnight like portals, lifting the digital reading subscription platform’s app off-screen and into a real world of storytelling. A citywide scavenger hunt with prizes, intimate influencer dinners, and a community celebration at Book, Blooms and Brews took this takeover from launch to love letter. Readers showed up as brand believers, propelling Portland from an emerging market to Everand’s top DMA, with branded search up 10x, social followers up 48% in a week, impressions up 61%, and engagement surging 90%.
